Art Deco Hues
The rich, vibrant colors of the Art Deco era are making a resurgence, bringing a sense of nostalgia and sophistication. This trend celebrates bold geometric patterns and luxurious materials, infusing interiors with the elegance and glamour of the early 20th century.
The Fortune Chair, designed by Jumbo NYC, reimagines the fortune cookie into colorful, reversible lounge chairs crafted from recycled plastic for versatile indoor/outdoor comfort.
Celebrating color & playful patterns, Concrete Collaborative’s Strands collection pairs playful patterns with bold colors.
Wonders of Wood
The natural beauty of wood is being celebrated with intricate craftsmanship and innovative applications. This trend highlights the versatility and timeless appeal of wood, used in furniture, flooring, and decor to bring warmth and texture into spaces.
Juntos’ Shadow Play Collection, showcased at ICFF, transforms the natural beauty of wood into striking, multidimensional furniture that is as much about sculptural aesthetics as it is about functional design.
StickBulb’s Pillar Collection, featured at ICFF, blends aesthetic beauty with sustainability, transforming salvaged wood into versatile light fixtures.
Storytelling Surfaces
Surfaces are evolving beyond mere functionality and becoming canvases for storytelling, encouraging Designers to create one-of-a-kind spaces with innovative materials and textures.
This “Smoke and Mirrors” design by Vanessa Deleon Associates in the Kips Bay Decorator Show House captivates with eye-catching movement, feeling, and intentional surface details like the cabinetry, wall coverings, and tile.
In collaboration with Designer Claudia Afshar, Cosentino continues to bring cutting-edge textures as one of the first to feature fluted tiles with Dekton Ukiyo winning the Interior Design Award for Surfaces at NYCxDesign 2024.

Artistic patterns are being used creatively across various design elements, bringing a sense of personalization to statement walls and upholstery
Beth Diana Smith Interior Design pulled out all the stops at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House with a wine lounge embraces entertaining and connection with a playful twist.
This stairwell by Swati Goorha Design greeted attendees of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House with ethereal hues of purple, pink, and yellow paired with unique textures and fixtures.
Geometric Lighting
Innovative lighting designs are illuminating spaces in new and exciting ways, pushing the boundaries of conventional design with unique shapes, materials, and technologies.
James Dieter’s Tubin Lamp embraces a “come as you are” ethos with its raw-milled brass or aluminum construction and modular, reconfigurable design, creating a versatile and striking piece for contemporary interiors.
Unexpected Hardware
Hardware is being reimagined with unique and creative designs, turning functional elements into statement pieces. This trend includes eye-catching door handles, cabinet knobs, and other hardware that add a distinctive touch to interiors, making them as much about style as functionality.

Honorable mention to this Indigo as Language dining chair by Mia Ziyan Wang for an unbelievavble blend of color, texture, and depth.
Hand crafted glass elements are making a statement in contemporary interiors. This trend highlights the versatility and elegance of glass, bringing craftsmanship to modern sophistication with a touch of timeless beauty.
This sconce collection designed by James Harris Studio beautifully transforms how we see light by blending the beauty of color, light, and movement.
An instant conversation starter, these striking hand-blown glass tables from Daniel Germani’s ICE Collection capture the fleeting beauty of ice, preserving its delicate and intricate form through functional art.
Mixed Metals
Mixed Metals are being used to add a touch of luxury and sophistication to interiors, catching the eye and reflecting light. This trend incorporates elements like metallic and powder coated finishes on accessories, lighting fixtures, and furniture, enhancing the overall aesthetic with a subtle shine.
